Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

At Little Stars High School, education goes beyond academics — we focus on nurturing emotional well-being and character. Through activities like morning sharing circles, teamwork projects, storytelling and value-based workshops, our students learn to manage emotions, build empathy, resolve conflicts peacefully and grow in confidence. SEL helps create a safe, happy environment where children thrive as kind, capable, and resilient individuals.

Implementation of NEP 2020

At Little Stars High School, we embrace the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 to make learning joyful, skill-based, and future-ready. Our approach includes strong foundational learning, life skills from an early stage, multidisciplinary activities, multilingual literacy and concept-based assessments. Regular teacher training ensures innovative, child-centered classrooms. With NEP 2020, we prepare students not just for exams, but for life — helping them grow into confident, curious and responsible citizens.

At Little Stars High School, we believe in giving every child a strong start in life. As a registered member of the ECA-APER India Community — which brings together over 10,000 educators and schools nationwide — we are part of a network dedicated to improving teaching and learning for children.

Through this membership, our teachers participate in regular training and workshops led by national experts, adopt age-appropriate and child-friendly teaching methods and stay updated with the latest educational research and practices. This helps us focus on the holistic development of every child — academically, emotionally and socially — ensuring they are well-prepared for the future.
